Freezer Tips
When chicken portions are on sale, I buy several packages and bake all of the bird, pores and skin side up, on foil-lined pans. When cool, I cast off the skin and bones, dice the meat and freeze in measured portions to use in casseroles and different brief suppers. —Marilyn Wolfe, Des Moines, Iowa
